Come and enjoy hot dogs, popsicles and get a chance to meet some new friends!
The annual Kindergarten Picnic is a wonderful opportunity to meet some of the other new Kinder families, Principal Weinstock, teachers and introduce your child to his or her new school. Representatives from many school groups will be present including Mar Vista School Enrichment Group and the P.T.A.

We hope every family will make a pledge this year. 100% parent participation of any amount would clearly say that the entire Mar Vista community supports our efforts.
To make your donation, there is a drop box outside the auditorium. You can also donate directly on our website using PayPal. Contributions to Phon-A-Thon are 100% tax-deductible. And be sure to double-check with your employer to see if they match donations.

POWER BROKERS
Are you planning to buy or sell a house, or know someone who is? You should know that a

| within the Mar Vista Elementary School boundaries. You can take advantage of
their knowledge of the neighborhood, and benefit the school at the same time! Please
patronize the local realtors who participate in the MVSEG Powerbrokers program. |
SCRIP
Scrip is a gift certificate or gift card for participating local and national merchants
who donate a percentage of your purchase back to the school. Use it just like cash at

All contributions are tax deductible, and if your employer has a gift matching program, you
may be able to double or triple your donation.
Recent corporate gift matching donations to
MVSEG include those from the Capital Group Companies Charitable Foundation, Teledyne
Technologies, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Boeing, Weyerhaeuser, American Express, J.P.
